Tigers Face Top 10 Marshall Co Football Friday

The DeKalb County Tigers (7-4, 3-1)travel to Marshall County (9-2,5-0) this Friday night in the second round of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association playoffs.

Marshall County earned the number one seed from Region 4 with their undefeated regular season region record. Marshall County finished seventh in the final Associated Press Top 10 poll, one spot behind Livingston Academy.

Both DeKalb County and Marshall County have each played Stone Memorial and Tullahoma.

The Tigers defeated Tullahoma 45-34 last Friday night in the first round of the playoffs and they beat Stone Memorial 33-0 back in early September.

Marshall County knocked off Tullahoma 30-6 in week three of the season and they defeated Stone Memorial 39-8 last week in the first round of the playoffs.

Kickoff is set for 7 P.M. in Lewisburg.
