Third-Quarter Woes Doom Warriorettes Against Rhea County

The White County Warriorettes lost a tough game to Rhea County on Friday by a final score of 56-45.

The game was close at half, as the Warrorettes held a 26-25 lead. Rhea County’s defense locked in during the third frame however, as they held White County to only four points to take a 10-point lead into the final quarter.

There, White County was only out-scored by one point, but it added up to a 56-45 win for Rhea County.

Gracie Dodgen led the way with 13 pints for the Warrorettes, while Kendreah Reeves scored nine points. Julia Curtis added eight points and a game-high 16 rebounds.

White County’s next game will be on Jan. 28 when they take on Stone Memorial.
