Third Quarter Lifts Bulldogs Over Gordonsville

The Clay County Bulldogs defeated Gordonsville at home on Friday by a final score of 67-41.

Up 28-19 at halftime, the Bulldogs exploded in the third quarter and out-scored Gordonsville by a 26-4 margin.

This allowed them to coast in the fourth frame, and they won by a final score of 67-41.

Grant Strong led all scorers with 20 points, while Jeff Spivey added 13. Mason Sharp scored 12 points of his own in the win.

Clay’s next contest will be on Tuesday at Trousdale County.
