Summer Rewind: UCSN Featured: White Co. Soccer’s Christian Henderson on Scoring a Hat Trick

As the summer rolls on, UCSN takes a back at the 2021-22 school year and sport seasons. In this series, we find our most viewed video from each school this year, and reflect on the time of the school sports calendar from when the video was first posted.

Today, we rewind on the White County High School Warriors soccer team. Specifically, then-junior Christian Henderson.

This video was posted a week after Christian completed a hat trick to put the Warriors ahead in their April 7th matchup with the Upperman Bees. This hat trick helped clinch the win, which was White County’s first district victory in close to four years.

FROM APRIL 7th, 2022:

Last Thursday, the White County High School Warriors soccer team defeated the Upperman Bees five goals to three. The Warriors win was thanks to an explosion from junior Warrior Christian Henderson who finished the game with a hat trick.

In the UCSN Feature, we talked with Henderson about each of his three goals, how the accomplishment felt to him, and how he got into soccer in the first place.
