Summer Rewind: HIGHLIGHTS: York Boys & Girls Basketball Defeat Pickett Co. Bobcats

It’s round 2 of the Summer Rewind. As the season rolls on, UCSN takes a back at the 2021-22 school year and sport seasons. In this series, we find our most viewed videos from each school this year, and reflect on the time of the school sports calendar from when the video was first posted.

Today, we rewind on the York Agricultural Institute Dragons basketball team.

When this video was posted, the Dragons Lady Dragons basketball team held a 12-5 record including a 3-0 record versus district opponents. The Dragons’ boys team held a 14-6 record also 3-0 in district.

FROM JANUARY 27th, 2022:

Thursday night, the York Institute Dragons & Dragonettes defended home court and added to their win columns versus the Pickett County Bobcats. The Dragonettes finished with a score of 73-42, while the Dragons played a closer game, their final score 68-56.

Now, the Dragonettes stand at 13-5 while the Dragons record is 15-6 on the season.
