By Summer Rewind: HIGHLIGHTS: Cookeville Boys & Girls Basketball Host Lebanon (1-14-22)
As the summer rolls on, UCSN takes a back at the 2021-22 school year and sport seasons. In this series, we find our most viewed video from each school this year, and reflect on the time of the school sports calendar from when the video was first posted.
Today, we rewind on the Cookeville Cavaliers Girls’ & Boys’ basketball teams.
When this video was posted, the Lady Cavaliers were in the middle of an historic season run, and the Cavaliers’ boys team would go onto defeat Lebanon in their next matchup to make up for the two-point nailbiter loss.
FROM JANUARY 14th, 2022:
Friday night, the Cookeville High School Cavaliers took on the Lebanon Blue Devils. The Lady Cavaliers defeated the Devilettes with a score of 64 – 58. The Cavaliers’ Boys Team lost a hard fought nail biter to the Blue Devils that came down to the final seconds, their score 81-83.
Now, the Lady Cavaliers remain unbeaten while the Cavaliers Boys stand at 10 & 10, and 0 & 2 in region play.
