Strong’s 34 Leads Bulldogs Over Northview Academy

Grant Strong scored a game-high 34 points to lead Clay County over Northview Academy by a final score of 74-65.

Clay took a 39-32 lead into half, and stretched it out to a 53-42 advantage after three.

Northview made a final push to make an attempt at a comeback, but it was too little, too late as Clay won by a final score of 74-65.

Senior Jake Ashlock added 20 points and six rebounds, while Mason Sharp scored nine points.

As a team, Clay shot 66.7% from the floor.

They will play in the championship game of the Sergeant York Christmas Invitational on Saturday.
