Strong, Ashlock Lead Bulldogs To Win Over Macon Co.

As they’ve done for most of the young season, Grant Strong and Jake Ashlock both put up big games in Clay County’s 88-65 win over Macon County.

The first half proved to be a major deciding factor in this game, as Clay County took a 48-25 lead into the halftime break.

Both teams tied in the second half, so Clay County walked away with a dominant 88-65 victory.

Strong led the team in scoring with 24 points on 10-18 shooting, while Ashlock provided a force in the paint with 17 points of his own.

Mason Sharp added 19 points with three three-pointers in the win.

Clay County will take the court again on Dec. 7 at Clarkrange.
