Stone Basketball Picks Up Two Hard Fought Wins Over Weekend
Stone Memorial defeated Creekwood 45-43 and East Hamilton 58-45 Saturday afternoon at Prescott South Middle School .
The Panthers trailed by three points after three quarters of play. Stone Memorial scored 12 points in the fourth quarter and only gave up seven.
Zach Boyd led the Panthers in scoring against Creekwood with 11 points and Chris Coudriet added 10 points. Zach Street and Jack Eldridge each scored seven points.
Stone Memorial hit 14-23 free throws in their second game against East Hamilton. The Panthers hit four shots from beyond the arch as well.
Against East Hamilton, Eldridge and Hunter Wattenbarger each scored 11 points. Will Hecker scored 10 points and Boyd scored eight.
Both Stone Memorial boys and girls basketball teams will play East Hamilton in Crossville, Tuesday night. Girls tip is set for 5:30 P.M.
