Sophomore Bush Gives Lady Buffaloes, Rogers An Extra Scoring Threat
The Clarkrange Lady Buffaloes defeated Pickett County 67-47 on Tuesday, but the game was much closer than the score indicates in the first half.
In need of an offensive spark, Sophomore Mattie Bush provided it with 17 points, and she finished second on the team in scoring for the game. Head Coach Lamar Rogers says that Bush’s role is vital to the team, because it adds another weapon that teams have to prepare for.
