Second Quarter Drives Warriorettes To Victory Over Pigeon Forge

The White County Warriorettes used a massive second quarter at both ends of the court to take home a 78-46 win over Pigeon Forge.

The Warriorettes held a slim 13-12 lead at the end of one, and then exploded for a 25-8 scoring advantage in the second.

That added up to a 38-20 lead going into the break. After another close quarter in the third, White County closed the game out by winning the fourth quarter 24-11, en route to a 78-46 victory.

Morgan Quick led the way in scoring with 20 points, with most of her damage coming on six three-point makes. Alaina Stiles added 14, while Gracie Dodgen and Kendreah Reeves each scored 10.

White County will advance in the Sonic Shootout to take on Cumberland County on Friday at 7 P.M.
