Season High 90 Points For Cavaliers In Win At McMinn Co

The Cookeville Cavaliers boys basketball team enjoyed their highest offensive output of the season, as the Cavaliers beat McMinn County 90 to 75, on the road.

The Cavaliers ripped the net for 13 made three point shots in the contest. Defensively Cookeville only allowed four made shots from beyond the arch.

Cookeville held a slight edge at the free throw line as the Cavaliers made 19 of their 26 attempts, where McMinn County made 17 of their 22 shots at the line.

Eight Cavaliers scored in the contest. Kosta Bikakis scored a game high 23 for Cookeville. Bikakis hit two shots from behind the arch and he hit all three of his free throws. Bailey Gilliam scored 2o points also. Briden Brown added 12 points and Colin Gilliam rounded out the double digit scorers with 11 points.

Cookeville draws their record to one game below .500 with the win as their record improver to 11-12, 1-3. The Cavaliers travel to White County this Tuesday night to take on the Warriors.
