Region Basketball Games Adjusted In Wake Of Tragedy

The Upperman boys basketball team had been originally scheduled to take on Cumberland County in the region semifinals Tuesday night. York also had a region semifinal matchup against Grundy County scheduled as well. Both game were to be played at Tennessee Tech.

Those games have been rescheduled and moved to Watertown on Wednesday, with York and Grundy County at 6 P.M. and Upperman and Cumberland County at 7:30 P.M. Due to a tornado that ripped through the Cookeville area on Highway 70 around 2:00 A.M.

The Upperman girls are still on schedule to play Macon County Thursday in the region championship game at 7:30 P.M. at Tennessee Tech.
