Jackson Co beats York Institute 8-0; Livingston beats Westmoreland on the road.

Every week on The High School Playbook, we break down high school games from around the Upper Cumberland. With week 1 of the high school football season in the books, we check in with the coaches to see how their teams have been handling the unique challenges that this year has brought to the season. Monterey and White County each miss the first week of the season due to COVID. The DeKalb County Tigers lose a hard fought game to CJ Taylor and the Warren County Pioneers, while Jackson County creates five turnover in an 8-0 victory over York. Livingston Academy over comes early miscues to beat Westmoreland on the road.
