Rain Not Enough To Slow Down Wildcats Football Against York

The Livingston Academy Wildcats (9-0) remain unbeaten on the season with a 41-6 victory over York Institute (2-7).

Head coach Bruce Lamb has said time and time again this season that his time will win games by any means necessary.

Against York, and due to the heavy rain, Livingston Academy leaned on their often-overlooked ground game.

Lamb saw his offense score on their first six possessions of the ball game to take firm control of the contest.

Kaleb Robinson continued his month long hot streak with 12 carries for 70 yards and four touchdowns.

Senior Nate Neely added nine carries for 56 yards and a touchdown, in his first action in over a month after a high ankle sprain.

Senior quarterback Will McDonald completed three of six passes for 26 yards and one score.

Wesley Smith hauled in tow of the three completed passes for 20 yards and the lone touchdown.

Thomas Miller scored the Dragons lone touchdown of the night from 25-yards out with 2:05 to play in the fourth quarter.

Livingston looks to cap off an undefeated regular season next week on the road against Macon County. York looks for win three against region opponent Cannon County.
