Quiet Friday, Busy Saturday for Upper Cumberland Basketball Teams

With High School Football still front and center, Friday night, across the State of Tennessee, the schedule for basketball was light, particularly for teams in the Upper Cumberland. That changes on Saturday, with no less than 35 total games set to be played, most in a Hall of Fame, or Hall of Champions, setting.

The Cookeville Lady Cavaliers improved to 2-0, Friday night, as they squeezed past Knoxville Webb, 48-44, behind Cassie Gallagher’s 18 points. Gallagher posted 22 points this past Tuesday night, as they Lady Cavs beat a solid Oakland team, 55-46.
