Pioneers Basketball Picks Up Two Wins Saturday

The Warren County boys basketball team relied on scoring from 11 players Saturday in their 65-54 win against Forrest at Coffee County Middle School.

D’Lano Spates led all scorers with 17 points. Spates hit eight buckets from inside the arch and went 1-2 at the free throw line.

Aiden Cummings scored 14 points for the Pioneers. Eli Jones and Kaden Rutledge both scored six points a piece.

In the second game Warren County defeated Macon County 62-48 at Coffee County Middle school also.

Lacedric Cox led both team in scoring with 16 points. Cox knocked down three three’s and hit all three of his free throws.

CJ Taylor added 12 points and Kaden Rutledge scored 11. D’Lano Spates also scored nine points for the Pioneers.

Warren County will next play Monday night against DeKalb County at 6 P.M. in Smithville.
