Pickett Co Girls Win Easily Against Lady Blue Devils
The Lady Bobcats of Pickett County beat the Jackson County girls basketball team 64 to 22, Friday night in Gainesboro.
Pickett County took a 37 to 12 lead into halftime. The Lady Bobcats did not surrender a single point in the fourth quarter as the game was out of reach.
Pickett County’s Abbi Bilbrey led all scorers in points with 27. Elly Smith added in 16 points of her own for the Lady Bobcats.
Jacklyn Agee scored a game high nine points for the Lady Blue Devils.
The win propels Pickett County’s record to 24-12, and 12-2 in district play. The Lady Bobcats will play again next Thursday night at Warren County.
The Lady Blue Devils record falls to 3-20, 2-11 on the season. Jackson County will finish our their regular season at Monterey on Tuesday night.
