Pickett Co Girls Take Down Lady Blue Devils

The Pickett County girls basketball team beat Jackson County 73 to 28 Tuesday night in Byrdstown.

Pickett County scored 36 points in the first half and 37 in the second half to reach 73 points.

The Lady Bobcats hit 16 of 21 free throw attempts compared to Jackson County who hit only four of 10 attempts.

Kyndal Ludick led all scores with 15 points. Chloe Burton and Shayla Wood each scored 12 points each. Jassimine Brown rounded out the double digit scorers with 11 points.

Jacklyn Agee led the Lady Blue Devils in scoring with nine points.

The win Tuesday night was the 12th in a row for the Lady Bobcats and improved their overall record to 18-1 and 6-1 in district play. Pickett County plays again Friday night on the road against Monterey.

The loss drops Jackson County to 1-15 and 0-6. Jackson County will play again this Friday night against Trousdale County at home.
