Panthers Take Second Place At Golf Capital Classic

The Stone Memorial boys golf team brought home second place, with a combined score of 319, in the Golf Capital Classic Tournament at Lake Tansi Golf Course, Tuesday afternoon in Crossville. Cookeville won the event with a team total of 314.

Brady Brewer carded the second lowest round, out of 12 teams, with a 74. Billy Drainus shot an 80 on the day while teammate Nolan Wyatt trailed closely behind with an 81. Kaleb McCoy rounded out the Panthers golfers with final stroke count of 84.

Stone Memorial will be back in action Monday afternoon at Hidden Valley Country Club against the Livingston Academy Wildcats.
