Panthers’ Golf Takes Season Opener Against Rockwood

The Stone Memorial boys golf team won their season opener, at Bear Trace in Crossville, against Rockwood by a final of 160 to 214. Brady Brewer shot a nine hole round of 37, while Billy Drainus fried a 39.

The final two golfers, for the Panthers, Nolan Waytt and Will Magnuson shot a 41 and 43 respectively. The team is lead by Stone Memorial baseball coach Trent Stokes who took over golf head coach duties when former head coach Nathan Brown left Crossville to become the new Athletic Director at Upperman High School.
