Offensive Struggles Lead To Loss For Lady Bulldogs

The Clay County Lady Bulldogs struggled early on offense on Sunday, and it led to a 71-45 loss to Southwestern.

After being outscored 20-11 in the first, things got even worse in the second as Clay was outscored 20-6. This added up to a 40-17 lead for Southwestern.

While the offense executed better in the second half, it wasn’t enough and Clay fell by a final score of 71-45.

Rachel Copass led the team with 10 points on 3/14 shooting.

The Lady Bulldogs will be back on the court on Jan. 2 in the Sergeant York Christmas Invitational.
