Offensive Struggles Doom Warriors Against Bearden

The White County Warriors struggled on offense early and it cost them late in a 56-38 loss to Bearden.

After trailing 11-6 going to the second, the Warriors managed to keep pace with Bearden in the second and they trailed by five going into half.

When all was said and done, White County just couldn’t muster enough offense to complete the comeback and fell by a final score of 56-38.

Grant Slatten led the team with 24 points, though he only made nine of his 22 shot attempts. That epitomized the struggles for White County, as they shot just 30% from the floor as a team.

The Warriors will continue play in the King of the Smokies Tournament on Sunday.
