Oakdale Beats Bobcats In Season Opener

Pickett County dropped their season opener against Oakdale 41-16. Oakdale owned a 28-0 lead at intermission.

The Bobcats were able to find the endzone twice in the second half and convert on two, two-point conversions.

Dylan Anderson racked up 90 yards through the air and 49 yards on the ground. Anderson also found the endzone once and converted a two-point conversion.

However, Oakdale found the endzone twice as well in the second half. Taylor Robinson led the way receiving with 90 yards a a trip to the endzone. Defensively Hunter Vick recoreded seven tackles and two interceptions. 

Pickett County (0-1) will travel to Sunbright (1-0). Sunbright beat Red Boiling Springs in week one 41-6.
