NJ cop who smashed in ex’s front door seen ranting and cursing at arresting officers in new video: ‘I just f–king snapped’

The New Jersey cop who bashed in her ex-boyfriend’s front door with a baton appears in newly released arrest footage admitting she “f–cking snapped” and threatening to “burn your house down next” as she fought off officers.

A crazed New Jersey cop who smashed her ex-boyfriend’s front door with a baton can be seen in the new video admitting she “f–king snapped” and warning officers that she’d “burn your house down next.”

Former Toms River Police Officer Rebecca Sayegh, 32 — permanently banned from law enforcement after the jealous outburst — lashed out at the officers who came to arrest her in the April incident, unleashing a wild, curse-filled tirade, the  bodycam footage shows.

“I just f–king snapped,” she first says during a phone call captured on camera, according to the footage.

“He wants to sit here and have some random f–king bitch in here with all my belongings,” Sayegh says, referring to her ex’s new girlfriend.

“[He’s] saying she’s gonna move in and shit — get the f–k out of here,” she raged.

When police ordered her to go with them, she refused, shouting, “No, we’re gonna go when I get all my s–t … Give me a second!”

“I’m calling my PBA officer,” she snapped, referring to her Police Benevolent Association union rep.

One officer then restrained her, prompting her to yell, “What the f–k are you doing?”

As officers escorted her down the driveway of the Berkeley home, she shouted, “I’m gonna f–king burn your house down next, you piece of s–t!”

Sayegh pleaded guilty to the jealous attack on Nov. 17. Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office

It wasn’t immediately clear from the footage whether she aimed the threat at her ex or the officer — but police said at the time she vowed to burn down her former boyfriend’s home.

“At least my hair’s nice today,” Sayegh then says as officers load her into a patrol car, seemingly acknowledging that the chaotic arrest would soon go public.

Sayegh pleaded guilty to the rampage in which she used her baton to smash through her ex-boyfriend’s front door around 11:20 p.m. on April 25. She then confronted him and his new girlfriend, who was also inside the home, NJ.com reported.

Sayegh — who once lived in the house with her ex of five years — argued with the pair before shoving both of them.

The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office announced on Nov. 17 that she has “forfeited all future public employment in the State of New Jersey.”
