Monterey Names New Volleyball Coaches For Junior, Senior High Teams

The Monterey Lady Wildcats Volleyball teams announced some new hires, as Sara Fredley will be joining the staff for the high school team, and Kiri Jenkins will join the junior high program.

This comes after the school announced that Jeff Slagle would take over as the high school team’s head coach back on Apr.8, the same day they announced that former coach Scott Bilbrey would not be returning.

The teams will hold tryouts during the first week of school, though a day and time has yet to be officially announced.

Any student interested in trying out for the MHS team is required to have an updated physical on file with the school.
