Monday Region Tournament Volleyball Recap

Monday marked the semi-finals of girls region volleyball tournaments across much of the state. UC Sports Nation had three teams in action Monday night.

Van Buren County swept Tellico Plains, 3-0, to advance to the Region 2, Single A Championship on Tuesday night. The Eaglettes will play against Meigs County in Meigs County.

The Lady Cavaliers also swept their semi-final opponent Bradley Central, 3-0. Cookeville will host Cleveland for the Region 3, Triple A Championship at 5:30 P.M.

The Lady Blue Devils season comes to an end at the hands of East Robertson. East Robertson bead Jackson County by a final score of three sets to zero.

Livingston Academy will play Red Bank in a Region 4, Double A semi-final game at 4:00 P.M. today in Livingston and Stone Memorial will take on Signal Mountain at 5:30 in Livingston as well.

The winners of each of those semi-final games will play each other at 7:00 P.M. for the Region Championship.
