Monday Night Girls Hoops Recap: Clarkrange, White Co Earn Big Wins

Clarkrange 68, Oneida 31

The Clarkrange Lady Buffaloes started fast on defense in the first half and used 21 fourth-quarter points to close out Oneida on Monday by a final score of 68-31.

Kassie Monday led all scorers with 16 points, while Kaylie Monday scored 12 points. Chloe Howard added 11 of her own.

Clarkrange will take on Clay County on Dec. 4 for their next contest.

White County 78, Wilson Central 16

The White County Warriorettes outscored Wilson Central 26-2 in the first quarter on Monday and that was all the offense needed in a 78-16 victory.

Gracie Dodgen once again led the way with 17 points, while Morgan Quick added 16 points. Alaina Stiles and Nia Powers added 10 points each.

It’ll be a short turnaround for White County, as they will take on Coffee County on Tuesday on the road.

DeKalb County 52, Warren County 47

Ella VanVranken led the way with 23 points in DeKalb County’s 52-47 victory over Warren County.

The third quarter proved to be the big difference-maker, as the Lady Tigers outscored Warren County 11-6 to take a 38-34 lead to the fourth quarter.

Kadee Ferrell added 15 points in the win. Kyra Perkins led Warren County with 14 points, while Erica Cantrell scored 12 points.

DeKalb County will take on Red Boiling Springs on Tuesday, while Warren County will face Cannon County.
