Monday Night Boys Hoops Recap: Upperman Earns Pair Of Victories

Upperman 60, Central Magnet 46

Upperman 69, Pisgah (AL) 40

The Upperman Bees got back to their winning ways with a pair of victories on Monday.

In their 60-46 win over Central Magnet, Alex Rush led the way with 24 points. Collin Gore scored 15 points as well, and Jaxon Fox added 11 points.

Gore led the team with 17 points in their 69-40 win over Pisgah (AL), and Rush added 12. John Alexander scored nine points.

The Bees will be back on Tuesday as they continue play in the Holiday Border Battle at South Pittsburg.

Stone Memorial 63, William Blount 46

The Panthers earned their second win of the season with a 17-point decision over William Blount on Monday.

Jack Eldridge led all scorers with 16 points, while Dylan Whittenburg added 15 points.

The Panthers will return to action on Tuesday in the Maryville Christmas Classic.

CPA 111, Livingston Academy 73

The Livingston Academy Wildcats played their first game since Dec. 1, falling to CPA by a final score of 111-73.

Matthew Sells led all scorers with 32 points, and Nick Choate added eight points.

Trailing by only six after the first quarter, CPA outscored LA 28-14 to take control of the game by the end of the first half.

LA will hit the court again on Tuesday, as they take on Ravenwood.
