Monday Leads Lady Buffaloes To 3 Wins, Is Named District Tournament MVP

Last week was a successful one for the Clarkrange Lady Buffaloes, as they took down Red Boiling Springs and Clay County to win the District 6A Tournament, and Hardy Memorial in the first round of region tournament.

Senior Kaylie Monday played a big role in it, as she led all scorers with 21 points against RBS, followed by a 26-point, 10-rebound double-double and six steals against Clay County. These performances earned her the Tournament MVP award.

Against Hardy Memorial, Monday added a 15-point outing to help her team to a dominant victory in the opening round of the region tournament.

This week, she joins the Hall’s Hall of Fame.
