McDonald’s Late Score Leads Wildcats Over Barbourville

The Livingston Academy Wildcats took down Barbourville (KY) on Saturday by a final score of 50-49.

Trailing by two with less than a minute remaining, senior Will McDonald scored with five seconds left to give the Wildcats a lead they wouldn’t relinquish.

That gave McDonald eight points on the day, as Matthew Sells led the team with 28 points.

Sells’ performance came on the heels of his career-high 40 points he scored on Friday.

Livingston will be back in action on Monday, as they will play in the Tournament Championship against the winner of Oneida-Scott.
