Livingston Academy Girls Back In Region Championship

The Livingston Academy girls basketball team got a shot to go as time expired last night to defeat Lincoln County in the Region 4-AAA semi finals at Tennessee Tech 40-39. With the win, the Lady Wildcats will play in the Region Championship for the first time since 2016. They’ll be taking on the Upperman Lady Bees for the fourth time this season. The Bees have taken two out of the first three match ups.

Here’s a look at all the other girls Region Championships coming up tomorrow.

Region 3-A:
Whitwell (23-11) vs. Van Buren County (21-8)

Region 4-A:
Clarkrange (23-11) vs. Pickett County (20-9)

Region 3-AA:
York Institute (31-2) vs. Smith County (13-17)

Region 5-AAAA:
Cookeville (28-4) vs. Green Hill (16-15)

All games will be played tomorrow at 7:00.
