Learn How To Win The Message For LA Girls Basketball

The Livingston Academy girls sit at 2-5, seven games into the season. However, 4-5 of those loss have came by 10 points or less.

“I think honestly we are just going to have to learn how to win,” head coach Lesley Riddle said. “We’ve been setting up a lot of scenario in practice where you’re in a certain situation in the fourth quarter and having to play it out… Honestly I think it’s going to take one of those to go our way for us to actually believe we can.”

The Lady Cats lost to Blackman 57-53, Tullahoma 54-44, Pickett County 55-52, and to Shelbyville 55-50 over the past two weeks.

“If we are going to lose a bunch of the heart breakers I would rather lose them now and learn from it,” Riddle said. “I’m ready for that to stop though honestly. My psyche needs a win too.”

Riddle and the Lady Cats have a district road match up against DeKalb County Tuesday night in Smithville before they return home to face Warren County this Thursday.
