Lady Wildcats Cap Perfect 10-0 Regular Season Mark in District 6-2A

There was a point, early in the regular season, there were a few more questions than answers for the Livingston Academy Lady Wildcat soccer team. After a 3-3 tie with Kingston, the Lady ‘Cats dropped their next four matches – three in the prestigious Smoky Mountain Cup – and were outscored, 14-1, along the way.

After returning home, the Livingston ladies went back to work, having seen the areas they needed to improve. The result of that hard work was 12 wins in their next 13 matches, and a complete, 10-game sweep of their District 6-2A schedule. The Lady Wildcats added another Regular Season District Championship to their ever-expanding trophy case, and are set to open tournament play, Tuesday night, October 12, in Smithville.

Lady Wildcats coach David Sadler joined UC Sports Nation to recap their tremendous regular season run, and to look ahead at the upcoming postseason.
