Lady Panthers Slip To Ninth After First Loss In Twelve Games

Stone Memorial girls basketball team slid sown two spots in this weeks Associated Press Top 10 poll. Saturday the Lady Panthers lost to Clarkrange by a final score of 61 to 45.

Saturday’s loss marked the first time Stone Memorial had last a game since December 7th on the road against Science Hill.

However, last Tuesday Stone Memorial took firm control of District 6, 3A with a 61 to 50 win over Cookeville.

This week the Lady Panthers travel to Sparta, on Tuesday, and host Rhea County this Friday.  Both games are district games.
