Lady Panthers Improve To 6-0 In District Play

The Stone Memorial girls basketball team stayed undefeated in district play Tuesday night with a 67 to 34 win over Warren County, in McMinnville . The Lady Panthers have won 15 of their last 16 games on the season.

Emma Capps scored a game high 20 points for Stone Memorial. Capps was one of five Lady Panthers to score in double digits. Mattie Buck dropped 13 points of her own and Katie Adkinson scored 11 points. Tessa Miller and Annah Goss each scored 10 points each.

Brielee Kelsey scored a team high eight points for Warren County.

The win improves Stone Memorials record to 22-2, and 6-0 in district play. The Lady Panthers host Cookeville Friday night in Crossville.

With the loss Warren County falls to 2-22, 0-6 on the season. The Lady Pioneers host Rhea County Friday.
