Lady Cavaliers Finish 15th At State Cross Country Meet
The Lady Cavaliers Cross Country team finished in 15th place with a team total of 384 Saturday morning at the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association Cross Country Championship at Percy Warner Park’s Steeplechase Course in Nashville.
Seven runners for the Lady Cavs competed with the top five sores counted for the final team score.
Junior Landri Wilcox finished fourth overall with a time of 18:07 and a score of three.
Fellow junior Annie Kate McDermott crossed the line in 57th place with a time of 20:39 and 41 points.
Freshman Emily Coonce finished in 107th place with a time of 21:55 and 88 points.
Juniors Maddie Long and Zoe Bear rounded out the scored runners with times of 23:14 and 23:35 and 122 and 130 points respectively.
Freshman Elizabeth McReynolds and junior Julia Matheney also ran for the Lady Cavs and they finished with times of 23:51 and 24:53.
