Lady Cats Defeat Cannon Co In Defensive Battle

The Livingston Academy Lady Cats defeated Cannon County on Tuesday by a final score of 39-36.

Livingston’s defense was on full-display in the first half, as they held Cannon to a mere 14 points in the opening two frames. That defense carried the Lady Cats to the final score as well, as they moved their district record to 4-3 with the 39-36 win.

Aleah Melton led the Lady Cats with 11 points, and Hailey Cronk scored eight points. Suzanna Hayes added seven points, while Keaton Webb contributed six points.

The Lady Cats will host the Upperman Lady Bees on Friday in their next game.
