Lady Cats Basketball Loses Close Battle To Upperman

The Livingston Academy Lady Cats lost a close game on Friday to Upperman by a final score of 53-45.

Just a two-point game at halftime, the Lady Bees won the third quarter by a 19-10 margin to take an 11-point lead into the final frame.

Livingston out-scored Upperman by a 13-10 count to cut the final deficit down to single digits, as the Lady Bees took home the 53-45 win.

Brooklyn Crouch led all scorers with 16 points for the Lady Bees, while Aiyana Levy added 13 points. Reagan Hurst scored 11 points of her own.

Hailey Cronk and Aleah Melton tied for team-high honors on Livingston with 10 points apiece.

The Lady Bees’ next game will be on Jan. 28 when they play Smith County, while Livingston hosts DeKalb County.
