Lady Cats Basketball Falls In Close Battle With Blackman

The Livingston Academy Lady Cats got off to a good start against Blackman on Saturday, but couldn’t sustain enough offense to hold them off in a 57-53 defeat.

After taking a three-point lead into halftime, Blackman out-scored Livingston 15-11 in the third quarter and 15-12 in the fourth to complete the comeback win.

LA had two double-digit scorers, as Hailey Cronk led the way with 18 points. Anna Beth Colson added 14 points on stellar shooting from the free-throw line, as she shot 10-11 from the charity stripe.

The Lady Cats next game will be on Nov. 26 at Pickett County.
