Lady Bulldogs Night At Free Throw Line Pushes Them Past Van Buren

The Clay County girls basketball team knocked down 23-29 free throws in their 70-46 win over Van Buren County Tuesday night in Spencer.

Clay County’s Briley Burchett lead all scorers with 21 points. Her teammate Katie Arms followed closely behind her with 20 points.

Van Buren County’s Layla Bouldin scored 12 points while Chloe Hillis and Emma Scoggins each scored 10 points each.

Clay County plays again this Friday and Saturday at a Thanksgiving Tournament in Cannon County.

Van Buren County plays next Tuesday against Monterey at home in Spenser.
