Lady Buffaloes Put Game Away Early Against Jackson Co

The Lady Buffaloes of Clarkrange extended their win streak to 12 games with a 70 to 24 victory over Jackson County, Friday night in Fentress County.

Clarkrange jumped out to a 32 to seven first quarter lead and never looked back. The Lady Blue Devils hit only one three on the night against Clarkrnage. On the other end of the floor Clarkrange buried eight shots from downtown.

Jackson County hit seven of their 10 free throw attempts and Clarkrange hit on six out of seven shots from the charity stripe.

The Monday twins showed up early and often for Clarkrange. Kaylie scored a game high 16 points. 10 of those points came in the first quarter. Kassie followed closely with 15 points of her own and 10 of her 15 also came in the first quarter.

Jacklyn Agee scored a team high eight points for the Lady Blue Devils and Ericka Davidson added six points.

Clarkrange improvers their overall record to 21-2, and a perfect 10-0 in district play. The Lady Buffaloes host Stone Memorial, Saturday afternoon in a huge non conference matchup. The Lady Panthers are ranked seventh in the latest AP Top 10 3A poll.

The loss drops the Lady Blue Devils to 2-17, 1-8. Jackson County will play again Tuesday night at Monterey.
