Lady Buffaloes Grind Out Tough Win Against Red Boiling

The Lady Buffaloes of Clarkrange clamped down defensively in the second, to come back and beat Red Boiling Springs 46 to 42 Saturday night in Fentress County.

At halftime Clarkrange trailed 30 to 24 but only allowed 12 total second half points to battle back for the victory.

Clarkrange’s Kassie Monday tied for the game high in points with Red Boiling Springs’ Kennedy Fleming with 17 points. Kaylie Monday dropped in 16 points and Chloe Howard scored 11.

Clarkrange won the battle at the free throw line where they hit 15 of 19 attempts compared to eight of 11 attempts from Red Boiling Springs. However, Red Boiling Springs hit eight, three’s opposed to Clarkrange who only hit one for the entire game.

Clarkrange host Cumberland County Monday night at 6 P.M. in Fentress County.
