Lady Buffaloes Basketball Takes Down Monterey
Fresh off a Class 1A AP Top 10 ranking Monday night, the Clarkrange Lady Buffaloes beat the Monterey Lady Wildcats 81 to 39 in Monterey.
Clarkrange’s Kaylie Monday led all scorers with 18 points. Teammate Mattie Bush poured in 16 points while Kassie Monday added 14 points.
Chloe Howard scored 11 for Clarkrange to round out their double digit scorers. The Lady Buffaloes connected on nine, three’s in the contest and they hit 10 of their 11 free throws.
Katelynn Moorehead scored a team high 12 points for the Lady Wildcats and Lindsey Wright added 10 points.
Monterey will play again Friday night against Gordonsville, in Carthage.
The Lady Buffaloes hit the road as the travel to Trousdale County Firday night. Both game times are set to tip off at 6 P.M.
