Lady Bobcats Remain At Number Five In 1A Basketball Poll

The Pickett County Lady Bobcats have won four straight games to improve their regular season record to 23-2, 11-2 and they spend back to back weeks as the number five ranked team per the Associated Presses Top 10.

The Lady Bobcats picked up wins over Gordonsville, on Tuesday, 67 to 30 and against Red Boiling Springs, on Friday, 65 to 50. This Tuesday, Pickett County knocked off Clay County by a final score of 61 to 34.

Pickett County has two games left on the schedule as they play Jackson County Friday night and Warren County next Thursday in McMinnville.
