Lady Bobcats Overcome Slow Start Against Trousdale

The Pickett County girls basketball team dug themselves into a 42 to 30 deficit at halftime against Trousdale County.

Pickett County used a third quarter where they allowed only two points to start the comeback in which they completed the comeback in a 65 to 57 victory.

The Lady Bobcats feasted at the free throw line as they connected on 26 of their 34 attempts on the night. Trousdale County connected on 12 of their 16 shots from the line.

The Lady Bobcats struggled with the deep ball as they hit only three, three pointers compared to Trousdale County who hit seven shots from deep.

Kyndal Ludick lead all scorers with 25 points for Pickett County. Abbi Bilbrey also scored over 20 points, as she dropped in 21 of her own. Shayla Wood rounded out the double digit scorers with 11.

The Lady Bobcats advance to take on Clarkrange in the district tournament championship on Monday night at 7:30 P.M. in Livingston.
