Lady Blue Devils Get First Win Of The Basketball Season

The Jackson County girls basketball team won their first game of the season 43-32 against Montgomery Central in the Soar and Score Thanksgiving Invitational Tournament.

Jackson County took a 25-15 lead into halftime and never looked back.

The Lady Blue Devils were led in scoring by Abigail Poston with 14 and Emma Chaffin with 10. Poston hit three, three’s and 3-4 free throws.

Jackson County will play in the fifth place game Saturday at 2:00 P.M.
