Upperman Takes Down Lady Jets In Volleyball

Uppermans girls volleyball team had a successful day on the court Tuesday afternoon. Coach Wayne Lewis’ junior varsity squad won two matches 25-16 and 25-22.

The varsity squad held up their end of the bargain as well as the defeated the Jets 3-1. Upperman took the first two sets 25-17 and 25-22. Cumberland County battled back to take the third set 25-22 as well. The Bees closed out the match in the fourth set with a 25-13 victory.

Upperman will be back in action Monday August, 24th in Baxter as the take on Clay County.
