Lady Bees Drop One Spot In USA Today Midstate Poll
The Lady Bees of Upperman went 1-1 last week in two district games. Tuesday, Upperman dropped their only their third game of the season, and their first loss since December 30th, to Macon County 64 to 37. The Lady Bees fell from ninth to 10th in this weeks USA Today Midstate Poll.
Macon County boast a 20-1 record and a perfect 8-0 district record. Macon County’s ranked third in this weeks USA Today Sports Networks Top 10.
Friday night, Upperman bounced back from their Tuesday loss with a 53 to 45 road victory over Livingston Academy. Upperman’s regular season record now sits at 19-3, and 7-1 in district play.
This week Upperman plays two more district contest. Tuesday plays host to Smith County and on Friday the Lady Bees travel to Jamestown to take on the Dragonettes of York Institute.
