LA Prepares For Nolensville Football Program Friday
The Livingston Academy Wildcats (10-0,4-0) welcome the Nolensville Knights (9-2,4-1) to Overton County this Friday night, for a second round match up, in the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association’s playoffs.
Nolensville finished two spots behind the sixth ranked Wildcats in the final Associated Press Top 10 Class 4A football poll.
Both LA and Nolensville each beat Macon County and Maplewood on the season.
Nolensville won their first round home playoff game against Macon County 47-7 and they beat Maplewood 23-10 in mid October.
Nolensville won those two match ups by a combined score of 70-17.
Livingston Academy defeated Macon County in the regular season finale 42-6. the Wildcats beat Maplewood 27-8 in their first round home playoff game.
Livingston’s combined scores in those two games were 69-14.
If LA wins this Friday night they will host the winner of DeKalb County at Marshall County.
Game time’s set for 7 P.M. in Livingston.
